Lesson learned abruptly

I got the notice,
That my phone was out of storage.

I checked the contents,
And despaired,
For I saw nothing to dispense.

All my data in there was,
Dear to me in some way,
And needed for my everyday.

Then next day,
My daughter in play,
Restored my phone away.

All was gone,
Nothing was left,
And I have lived like that these days.

Thanks to her,
I realized,
That I needed a lot less.

I was just clinging,
To everything,
And just feared to make a change.

So there you go,
Lesson learned,
Got rid of all and lived to tell the tale.
